Ok I don't even know where to start. I have an 8 yr old daughter with my ex. We've been divorced for 6 yrs I have visitation with my daughter on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekend and on Thurdays from 6-8pm. For the first 2 yrs my ex use to let me see my daughter when ever she wanted to. Then we went back to court and she started letting me pick her up on the days i was suppose to unless there was something she wanted to do (ex.birthdays, movies) without even asking me. I did police reports everytime. Then in June she decided to move to Houma, Louisiana( I live in Houston, Tx) Because her new husband got a job there( Note that he hasnt had a steady job since they've been married). She never told me until they had already moved to Houma. She's telling me if i want to see my daughter i have to go get her. I would pretty much lose Friday because we would be driving and im already losing Thursdays. Im a very hands on dad. When she lived here i would try to make to eat lunch with her atleast 3/4 times a month, I had teacher confrence and i made it to all of her school activities(dinner with santa, super kids day, Thanksgiving lunch). I just don't see how they expect for the non custodial parent to pay back childsupport how how does the custodial parent pay back the lost time.(I do pay $520 a month). i know that the best thing is to hire a lawyer but times are hard and this month hasn't been the best. Please help me!... Read More »
