I live in Iowa and the furthest south I've been is Houma Louisiana (swam in the Gulf of Mexico). The furthest north was Minneapolis, Minnesota (loved the big city feeling), the furthest east was Memphis, Tennessee (loved it there too! There was soooooo much to see!), and furthest west was Omaha, Nebraska (went to the Henry Doorly Zoo only- it was great!). So where are some other amazing places to visit? Maybe some places that are a "diamond in the roth"? I like just about anything-- great music, beautiful scenery, amazing weather, big city ventures, etc! Please let me know! Thanks! : ) @meglion424: Thank you for clearing that term up with me (diamond in the ROUGH not roth, hehe). I'm unsure if I will be flying but I more than likely will be driving. I plan to go next year for a week or so- anytime from April-September. I've heard that NYC is amazing and beautiful, but what are the best places to visit (besides the obvious Statue of Liberty)? My husband loves California and I really want to go there, but I'm a friendly person and prefer a friendly place and yet, I have a desire to check it (Cali) out.
